Showcase Overview
Oversized, rounded velvet leaves carry a cool silver veil with a faint rosy cast. In the large format, ‘Silver Blush’ reads like sculpture—broad plates, sturdy petioles, and a poised, gallery-clean silhouette.

Scale & Structure

  • Botanical: Anthurium ‘Dorayaki’ (Silver Blush selection)
  • Habit: self-supporting rosette; measured leaf spacing for a calm outline
  • Surface: velvety matte lamina, luminous vein tracery, silver overlay with soft blush tones
  • Interior scale (large): typically ~55–80 cm (22–31 in) overall height with generous leaf diameter
  • Pet guidance: stage beyond curious nibblers

Light Map
Aim for ambient daylight behind a sheer or gentle east exposure. Keep harsh midday beams off the velvet so the silver wash stays crisp and the edges remain tidy.

Hydration & Medium
Water once the upper layer of substrate feels dry; soak through and let runoff exit completely—no standing water in sleeves or saucers.
Root zone: open, oxygen-rich blend (orchid bark + pumice/coarse perlite + coco chips, with a light sphagnum accent). Seat the crown slightly high; a snug pot maintains a composed, upright stance.

Climate & Air
Comfort band: ~20–27 °C (68–81 °F) with room humidity around 55–70%. Gentle airflow helps plates cure firm and reduces spotting on pale sectors.

Nutrition & Upkeep
Feed a balanced formula at ¼–½ strength during active months; taper as growth slows. Rotate the planter every couple of weeks for even presentation. Dust leaves lightly so the silver/rose tones and veinwork stay luminous.

Placement Ideas
Set on a low console or pedestal where the circular geometry sits near eye level. Pair with stone or matte planters; contrast against glossy aroids to emphasize material play (matte vs shine).
